Krystin and Chastity

For Project Three, the class is to create an interactive element for a provided audience either individually or in pairs. Tyler provided several interviews between mothers and their daughters. After viewing and reviewing each interview's content, Kristin and myself decided to have Krystin and Chastity be our target audience.

Here is what I took from this video interview:

Krystin:

Problems:
Main concern is how she will adapt socially when she grows up. She is very sweet but id very shy. Prefers to remain out of sight, though she has a lot of talent. Mother does not want her to miss out on opportunities in life due to her lack of confidence and shyness.

Worries:
Besides her lack of confidence, would be being safe. She worries about whether she is alright, is she eating, is she safe, etc.

She is independent. Learned to do things on her own, but when she is around other people she doesn’t want her to lose this independence.

Short term goals are to be more active. Get her socially active either through dance, swimming, sports, or music. Hopefully boost her social self-confidence.

Long term goals are for her to pursue what she wants. Give her best in every situation. Believe in herself and pursue her goals. Anything is possible.

*Wants to be an inventor, a science geek. Get involved in projects and get good grades.

Mom works full time and is a widow.

Chastity:

Likes going to the pool.

Favorite toys are barbie dolls.

Favorite shows are Victorious and Teen Titans. Saved by the Bell.

Favorite thing about Fridays is making treats (fun friday).

Prefers not to just sit at home and do nothing. She is not the biggest fan of music class because they are learning the basics.
